Bridging The Gap

Since the module, Memoona helped out at UPP as an editorial assistant providing readers reports on a selection of Burmese short stories for Strangers Press and devised a submissions process for Boiler House Press.​

  • Her writing has been published in a range of print and online publications and she regularly reads her poetry at events.

A creative and thoughtful writer and meticulous editor who developed as part of the course a concept for Human Underwater, an anthology of poetry written in response to the climate crisis by womxn and non-binary poets of colour. She is passionate about editing and publishing work which illuminates the multi-dimensionality of different voices.
